I specialize in large-scale, high-fidelity, direct numerical and large eddy simulations of non-reacting and reacting flows, hypersonics, fluid structure interactions, multiphase flows, and scientific machine learning.
Brief Research Preview
Hypersonic & Supersonic Flows
I work on high-fidelity numerical simulations for flows in Hypersonic regimes, up to Mach 12. The flow grids are well resolved for a coarse direct numerical simulation approach.
Fluid Structure Interactions
I am working on high fidelity numerical simulations for fluid-structure-interactions (FSI) studies in supersonic and hypersonic flows.
Multiphase Flows & Combustion
I conduct numerical simulations for studying all aspects of multiphase flows, including jet breakup, droplet breakup, atomization, etc.
Machine Learning
I build, design and develop machine learning algorithms and frameworks for aerospace applications using data from simulation and experimental studies to predict spatiotemporally varying and statistically stationary flows.
